I am very excited to show you all my very first sketch!! It is something that I have been wanting to try but frankly, didn't really know how to or where to start. I was asked to be a guest sketch artist for Paws on Scrapbooking and said yes. Well, I said yes but still had no idea how to do one. Things got busy so I didn't get to make it nice and early like I had planned. I never started it until the day it was due...talk about pressure! Well, if anything, I think the pressure helped me. I love how it turned out and I learned that it's really fun to do. This is a pretty elementary sketch but I do hope to learn how to do even more. I have also included the layout that I made to go along with the sketch. Feel free to use the sketch for yourself. I would love a link back to your layout or a comment on this post so I could go check it out! :)

Snuggles: For this layout, I felt like doing something bright and summery. I just LOVE doing layouts on white cardstock and using bright, happy pattern paper. All the pattern paper here is K&Company. I used my circle punches and the crafter's workplace circle template. Those two items are indispensible to me for scrapbooking. The rub-ons are Fancy Pants and the title is Basic Grey chipboard.
This is Larissa snuggling with her little stuffed horse...awwwww.

To make this butterfly, I stamped (Prima) it in pink Staz on ink and applied a little chalk with a paint brush. Then I topped it with Kaiser Craft rhinestones.
