Feeling Lovey Dovey ? My Creative Scrapbook reveal

Here is the reveal for two of the kits at My Creative Scrapbook. I really enjoyed working with these kits... the Fancy Pants Splendid ad on kit was my favourite because these colours are so me!

Here is a little tin of candies that I made. I used a K&Co empty tin that used to have chipboard in it. I covered it in the Splendid paper. Added velvet trim to the edges, glittered up the chipboard and added black Zva crystals (everything seen here came in the kit except the candy and the tin of course!) I just love the alphas that came with this kit...Pink Paislee Holly Doodles. I added some tissue paper and smarties to finish it off. Now it's sitting pretty in my kitchen waiting for Valentines Day.

When I opened this kit and spotted this robot I squealed with delight. Now granted, a robot would not be something I would seek out to use on a scrapbook page but I instantly knew what layout I wanted to use him for. I knew he would be a perfect addition to an 'out takes' page. We are always goofing off and doing 'the robot'...no exceptions during our pre-christmas photo shoot. It was very hard to be serious in the photos when it was just Jason and I (as you can see LOL)

A close up of my favourite little robot man and the embellies clustered around him.
Here is another layout done with the Fancy Pants ad on kit. This is my brother, Daniel and his new finance Jennette. We were so excited when they got engaged on their trip home to PEI last summer...and this summer coming ('09) they will have thier wedding here.

Be Mine: Here's my favourite little Valentine. This layout was also made with the Fancy Pants ad on kit. I plan to journal on the little journaling spot underneath the title. I just loved the KI Memories glittered lace cardstock that came with this kit!
These layouts were made with the main kit featuring My Little Yellow Bicycle. This kit was amazing...so many wonderful elements to it. It even included a gorgeous sheet of shimmery Hambly textured paper, Prima cyrstals, Prima flowers, rubons, chipboard... it keeps going.

This is my other brother, Richard and his girlfriend Kristin this past summer. Hopefully they will be home this summer for Daniel & Jennette's wedding but it's still kind of up in the air. Both of them have committments in Europe and the Middle East... but I'm stilling hoping they will be able to make it home for a visit before they leave.

Another one using the main kit... me and my sweetie pie. I don't often do layouts of just us but I did two this month alone! I just couldn't help myself since the kits were geared around a Valentines Day theme. The little black dots were punched from the black Hambly paper.

Everyday 3: I just love this die cut paper..it was so pretty that I didn't want to cover it up. All these lovely goodies came in the main kit. A lot of the chipboard and die cuts in this kit came with a beautiful black flock on them...they are even prettier IRL.

I made some more of my decorative mason jars with leftovers from the main kit. Well, these are actually old baby food jars. I still buy the baby sweet potatoes and sneak them into Larissa's spaghetti sauce for a little added vegetables. These altered jars get used in my scrappy room...they house buttons, pins, little bits and sometimes they just sit on the shelf and look pretty.

To see lots more beautiful projects with these (and more) kits head on over to the DT gallery at MCS.
