Budget Savings Tips

Most scrappers want to stretch their dollar a little further. I throughly enjoy spending money on my favourites like Prima, Basic Grey, Pink Paislee... My list could go on and on... But I still love a good deal when I can find one. My local dollar store (Dollarama) has all kinds of treasures to be found and used for scrapbooking. I recently found these cools flowers and laces. The flowers were not in the scrapbooking section. I found them in packages of 2 being sold as shoe charms. Now, as far as shoe charms go, I think these are fugly but as scrapbooking embellishments...very pretty!
Look at these really cool laces. I also found other ones with floral patterns in a variety of colours and widths.


This is what the flowers look like on the back. They come with a little clip on them.

If you are careful, you can just pry the clip off the back without damaging the flower. After the clip is peeled you are ready to use the flower on your layout. You can adhere your flowers with terrifically tacky tape, glue dots, pop dots or hot glue.
